Sarong SAAS 15, Suppository Filler
EUROPE (Western and Northern)
This is a fully automatic machine for the production and packaging of suppositories in aluminum foil strips.
The machine has a capacity of approximately 20,000 suppositories/hour.
Two foil strips are cold-pressed and sealed, leaving an opening at the top.
The suppository mass is filled into the cells, which then pass into the cooling tunnel.
The tops of the suppositories are sealed, coded, perforated, and serrated, and the suppository strip is separated vertically.
Two aluminum coils are placed in the machine on the left side and guided vertically through the training station.
The suppositories are assembled using molds and compressed air.
The strip then moves to a sealing and filling station, where the two halves are aligned, joined, and sealed at the base and sides.
The suppository mass must be pumped into an 80-liter product hopper, located in the tee and equipped with an agitator.
Fourteen filling needles fill the suppository mass into the shells, which are then intermittently conveyed through four cooling carriages. After the cooled and hardened suppository strip emerges from the tunnel, the top of the strip is sealed by electrically heated sealing jaws.
A code, batch number, date, etc., can be entered simultaneously.
Perforations are cut between individual suppositories, and a pre-cut notch can be cut into the suppository for easy opening.
