Feed & Infeed Control :

Pre-Treatment & Pre-Milling
Anti-Adhesion Unit: Positioned prior to the pre-milling unit, prevents glue from adhering to the top and bottom of the panel.
Pre-Milling Unit: Uses milling units rotating at 12,000 RPM to remove a pre-determined amount of material from the edge of the part.
Two 4kW motors on THK guides for automatically advancing and retracting the counter-rotating motors.
Lateral side copy device to compensate for any improper machine feeding or warp in long boards.
Panel Heating Lamps: Two horizontally mounted infrared heat lamps pre-heat the edge
of the panel for optimum adhesion — extremely effective for applying solid wood strips in cooler temperatures.
Gluing System:
Gluing Unit VC 600:
Precise control of the amount of glue on the panel edge.
Electronic control of glue temperature.
Automatic temperature kick-down to avoid glue scorching.
Pressure section with one large, motorized roller and five idle rollers with opposing tilt.
SPG Glue Pot:
Equipped with a Double Thermoregulation System capable of applying and managing both EVA and PUR glue.
Capable of emptying the glue pot in eight minutes through the PC controller.
NC controlled glue dosage through the controller.
"QMS" Glue Station: Automatically supplies the glue pot with the proper amount of glue on demand.
The smaller pot turns over glue faster, and the hopper holds in excess of 10 lbs. of glue.
Electronic Pressure Roller Positioning: Electronic setting of the pressure section via a servo-driven motor, controlled through the PC.
Spray Mist Device for "Delicate Edge": Helps improve the finish on polished and delicate edges,
with or without a protective film, by preventing friction between the edge and the copy device.
Includes two independent adjustable nozzles and a liquid tank.
Trimming & Finishing:
Top Mounted End Trimming Unit: Automatically removes material beyond the end of the work piece.
Pneumatic tilt through the controller for straight or chamfer cuts.
Independent exclusion of each unit through the controller.
Unit installed on the pressure beam.
Two motors with timed pneumatic movement.
Front and back feelers with automatic location.
Lateral feelers on linear ball recirculating guides with pneumatic intervention.
Motors with manual tilt up to 15°.
Nesting Lock Kit: The rough set of top and bottom trimmers, the fine trim unit,
and the profile scrape station are all equipped with SCM's patented "nesting lock" system,
providing the most accurate copy for standard panels and panels with a predrilled hinge hole or groove.
Rough Trimming Unit: Top and bottom trimming motors with quick-release device.
Fine Trimming Unit equipped with Multi-Edge: Three automatic positions for three different thicknesses
of thick PVC and infinite thin edges, with NC positioning between one thin and two thick edges and micro adjustment through the controller.
Rounding 4 Corner Rounding Unit: 4 motors supported by a parallelogram kinematic motion,
allowing the unit to follow the head (end) of the panel in sequence, independently from the geometry of the profile.
Edge Scraping Unit: Kit for machining with NC automatic change between 2 rounded edges according to the installed or selected tools.
Glue Scraping: Removes possible excess glue on the top and bottom side of the panel.
Complete with two cutters.
Vertical copying device.
