The ACUSON Redwood ultrasound system from Siemens Healthineers is
a premium ultrasound system that delivers detailed image quality,
advanced technologies and greater workflow efficiency.
Designed to address the needs of an aging population and
the growing demand for early detection of chronic disease,
it supports Radiology, Cardiology, Obstetrics and Gynecology applications.
It is highly flexible and portable.
Detailed imaging
From the improved sensitivity of the latest InTune single-crystal
transducer technology to the next-generation coherent image formation (CIF)
beamformer, the ACUSON Redwood system delivers imaging that
inspires confidence.
Coherent Image Formation (CIF) for Harmonic Imaging: Uses both phase
and amplitude information to form an image, enabling high resolution
and high frame rates compared with conventional ultrasound systems.
UltraArt Universal Image Processing: Siemens Healthineers exclusive,
state-of-the-art speckle reduction algorithm.
UltraArt real-time quad display: Select your personalized image preference
from a real-time touch screen quad display.
Color Flash Suppression Technology: Reduces color flash artifacts
with no user interaction, improving color sensitivity and performance even
when a patient is actively breathing. It adjusts persistence relative to
operator motion, reducing extraneous color speckle.
Clarify Vascular Enhancement (VE): Uses power color Doppler amplitude
information superimposed on the 2D image to remove noise and
better delineate the lumen of blood vessels.
Auto Flash Artifact Suppression & Auto Trace: Help improve image quality
and reduce exam time.

Point Shear Wave Elastography (pSWE): One-touch shear wave
elastography technology for reproducible, reliable and
detailed tissue stiffness information supporting liver assessment.
Virtual Touch 2D Shear Wave Elastography (2D-SWE): Provides a velocity map
with clear delineation of the area of interest (e.g. a liver mass)
to aid clinical diagnosis.
Virtual Touch Strain Elastography: A simple, qualitative measure of
lesion stiffness relative to the surrounding tissues.
Contrast imaging (CEUS)
Contrast Pulse Sequencing (CPS) & flash sequencing:
