Features and benefits
InFocus Imaging Technology
Thanks to its powerful system architecture,
the ACUSON Sequoia ultrasound system does not require a
conventional focal zone and yet delivers perfectly focused images.
InFocus uses synthesized, retrospectively focused transmit beams across
the entire field of view, focusing at all depths.
Thanks to massive, overlapping multi-beam groups, more information is
acquired in typical transmission sequences than with single or
closely parallel beam lines, as is the case with conventional systems.

Custom Tissue Imaging
Using sound velocity correction technology, the sound velocity can
be adjusted according to body type or pathology to optimize focus,
spatial resolution, and contrast resolution.

UltraArt universal image processing
UltraArt is a novel approach that allows users to define preferred
image parameters by selecting one of four image variations displayed on
the touchscreen. With UltraArt, various parameters for
the desired images can be preset in real time and during post-processing.

Modality comparison
Modality comparison allows users to easily compare images from
other imaging modalities simultaneously with real-time ultrasound images.
This enables a quick and easy comparison of previously identified organs or
pathologies.
