Inserter
The sheets are printed in sequence and then manually loaded into the feed tray by the operator.
The sheets are aligned on both sides and transported to the collecting station
where the cross knife unit folds the sheets by means of its vertical movement from bottom to top.
Collecting and folding station
The knife-scored and folded signature is transferred inside two facing, pneumatically-driven plates that press the fold.
Subsequently, the signature is transferred from these plates to the fix saddle of the sewing machine.
