Sonosite EDGE II

The Sonosite Edge II introduces new technology that its predecessor,
the Edge, lacked.
These include DirectClear technology, which improves the penetration
and contrast resolution of the new probe,
and is also available in the SonoSite SII instant flat-panel
touchscreen ultrasound machine.
Another new feature of the Edge II is its unique new armored
cable technology designed to protect the strain relief from failure after prolonged use.
After many years of use, the cable is usually stretched, such as B.
being run over by a car, being stepped on, and generally used by a cable.
The Edge II is a shared service ultrasound machine
with 2D/PW/CW/Color Velocity Doppler/Power Doppler/Tissue Doppler
and image enhancement technologies such as SonoADAPT,
SonoHD2 and ColorHD. New to the Edge II is a redesigned transducer
with a double-curved and thin lens design that improves penetrability,
clarity and color sensitivity for visualization of blood vessels and nerves.
Some applications where the Edge can project ultrasound images include,
but are not limited to, abdominal, cardiovascular, pressure echo
and transcranial, musculoskeletal and small parts,
as well as women's health (gynaecology, urology, etc.) applications
for children and adults.
