Description
The TECAN MegaFlex is a FAST, fully automated sample processor controlled by an external PENTIUM PC
& its software package(AXS vers. 2.13, Integrator vers. 7.42).
This instrument features two double diluters with independent syringes
and four sampling tips on a single robotic arm.

Each tip is capable of performing aspirating, dispensing, or diluting operations at any position
on the instruments work table.
The robotic arm cam move to any point of the work surface in X-direction (left & right).
The four pipetting tips are mounted on a Y-slide, inside the arm,
which allows free movement to any point in Y-direction (front & back).
The spacing of the four sampling tips is varied automatically to reach samples
as far apart as 36mm or as close as 9mm for sequential microplate wells.

Finally, the four tips, independently of each-other, can be positioned to any height
(Z-direction) within the workspace.
Two double diluters are used for the precise aspiration and dispensing of liquids
in accurate volumes of 5ul to 10ml.
