They used it to bag 240cm rolls of fabric.
A pedal starts the cycle, which first rolls, then cuts and seals the nylon.

The machine is a fabric bagging machine, so it can easily bag from 10 cm to 50/60 cm.
The nylon is sealed as part of the bagging cycle and is only on the long side of the roll.
It is heat-sealed using a high-temperature sheath that is raised after the cutting cycle to seal.
There is no side seal.
