The Tali cytometer from Invitrogen is an image-based, three-channel cytometer
that uses brightfield, green fluorescence, and red fluorescence imaging.
It enables suspension cell assays to be performed directly at the benchtop.
A three-parameter population analysis can be performed with a sample volume of 25 µl in
approximately one minute. In addition to the brightfield channel,
there are two fluorescence channels for the simultaneous counting of green
or red fluorescence signals, as well as cells expressing GFP or RFP.
The Tali offers a user-friendly interface that allows data storage and report generation,
which can be transferred to a PC via a USB drive.
Additional features include the presentation of comprehensive data in graphical reports
and the export of data in various formats such as .csv, .jpg, .fcs, and .pdf
for archiving and comparison.
