Iridex, Topcon PASCAL Streamline Yellow
ASIA (North East)
PASCAL is an advanced ophthalmic pattern
laser photocoagulation device primarily used to
treat retinal diseases such as diabetic retinopathy,
retinal tears, and glaucoma.
Compared with conventional laser treatments,
its key features include less pain and
significantly shorter treatment times.
577 nm: EFFICIENT, SAFE, AND SECURE
The 577 nm wavelength better targets the RPE
with less scattering than 532 or 561 nm lasers.
The combined absorption by melanin and
oxyhemoglobin makes 577 nm more efficient.
The energy is concentrated in a smaller volume,
allowing for lower power usage and
shorter pulse durations.
