The Toshiba Excelart Vantage 1.5T is a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
system designed to be used in hospitals and clinics for radiology applications.
Equipped with Toshiba's premium technology such as the Pianissimo and the SPEEDER,
the Excelart Vantage 1.5T is designed to deliver high-quality images that could
be used for a wide range of clinical applications including,
but not limited to abdominal, cardiac, spine, whole body, breast, and orthopedics.
The Excelart Vantage 1.5T features Toshiba's Pianissimo technology.
The patented tech is configured to reduce acoustic noise by 90% during operation.
The reduced operating noise can, therefore, potentially reduce patient anxiety
or eliminate the need for anti-anxiety medication
or sedation during the scanning procedure.
Toshiba’s SPEEDER parallel imaging system is arranged
to improve the acquisition speed and reduce the examination times.
This also allows the medical personnel to perform examinations
in a single breath hold, which in turn, reduces the motion artifacts
and increases the image quality. In addition, the quick examination time
can increase the overall patient throughput as well as the patient comfort.
The Vantage can also be equipped with optional packages,
including advanced Echo Planar Imaging (EPI), Perfusion and Diffusion Imaging,
Peripheral and contrast-free magnetic resonance angiography (MRA),
Super Fast Advanced Spin Echo (SuperFASE) imaging, Fresh Blood Imaging (FBI),
and Body Diffusion.
These systems are designed to increase the MRI scanner's functionalities
which allow the machine to be used even for the most complex clinical procedures.
