The sterilization oven is the device used in laboratories to sterilize by dry heat.
A higher temperature and exposure time are required than
the autoclave.
The temperature varies between 120° and 180°C,
requiring different exposure times.
At 140°C at least 5 hours of exposure are needed,
while at 160°C at least 2 hours of exposure are required.
