Welex 4.5" reclaim line

4.5" Welex 30/1 L/D vented extruder with
underwater pelletizing downstream.
Extruder consists of a 30:1 water cooled barrel with
11.674/1 gear ratio.
Driven by 250 hp DC motor,
includes 6" slide plate screen changers with
hydraulic power unit and accumulator.
Has external water pump and heat exchanger for
water circulation, 6 barrel zones,
5 die zones for downstream equipment.

Downstream includes Beringer WRP12
water ring pelletizer having new bearings and
screens installed in the spin dryer in 2022.
