The ZEISS CIRRUS 5000 from ZEISS is an advanced optical coherence tomography
(OCT) system designed to provide high-resolution retinal imaging and
multimodal analysis for the diagnosis and monitoring of eye diseases.
Using proprietary FastTrac™ eye tracking technology,
dense B-scan data cubes and the AngioPlex OCTA platform,
the device enables detailed visualisation of the retinal microvasculature,
retina, optic nerve and anterior segment.
The system also supports widefield scans up to 14x14 mm OCTA montage
and multimodality imaging with advanced features for the management of
glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy.

Operationally, the CIRRUS 5000 is characterised by high automation,
the ability to perform fast and repeatable acquisitions,
and the integration of advanced tools such as Guided Progression Analysis,
automated reports and longitudinal comparison software.
Non-invasive OCT Angiography (OCTA) technology enables dye-free vascular analysis,
while dedicated anterior segment functions and compatibility
with the ZEISS FORUM system optimise clinical workflow and data management.
