Used sectional warper in Wotol
Sectional warpers are used to prepare the beams for the weaving.
It is composed of a creel holding bobbins of yarn, a drum on which the yarn will be rolled and finally a beaming section to unroll the drum on the finbal weving beam.
This creel if holding few hundreds to more than 1000 bobbines of yarn.
All the yarns will be pulled from the creel to the drum.
If there are 700 bobbins on the creel they will be rolled buy group of 700.
Once the wanted lenght of warp is reached the drum will stop and and other line of 700 yarns will be rolled next to the previous one and so on.
If you want a beam with 7000 yarns you will need to repeat this action 10 times.
Once you the number of desired yarns on the width of the drum has been reached, the drum will stop.
Q: What tension is usually necessary on a section warper?
A: For warping beams used in non technical fabric the wrapers have a tentions with a range of 0,2 to 10 KN but if you need to warp beams for technical fabric you will need 15KN or even 20KN is some cases. For such tension you need reinforced sectional warper.
