Berstorff model ZE25 25mm Twin Screw Extruder.
Co-rotating, inter-meshing side by side screw design.
Electrically heated, air-cooled barrel having approximately
a 28 to 1 L/D ratio at a 46′′ center line height.
Total of six (6) barrel sections including 1 feed section.
Gearbox is belt driven by a 7 1/2 hp, 1750/2300 RPM Reliance D/C motor
with Reliance VS SCR allowing for a max screw speed of 550 RPM.
. Includes a control panel set up for Eurotherm 808 controllers which
have been removed. Both extruder and panel are mounted on casters.
Four (4) hole strand die mounted on the extruder discharge.
Built 1990. 230/3/60.
Very clean. Includes inter-connecting wiring.
