The Collins ADF-650 ADF System is the original ADF for the well-regarded Microline series. The ADF-650 offers good performance, but not quite as good as the ADF-650A System. If your budget is tight, this system may make sense for you. Otherwise, we recommend that you consider upgrading to the ADF-650A System. The additional cost is well worth it.

There are three main components to this system:

Collins RCR-650 ADF Receiver

The RCR-650 is a TSO'd, solid state, panel mounted ADF receiver.

Collins IND-650 ADF Indicator

The IND-650 is TSO'd and lighted.

Collins ANT-650A Combined Loop / Sense ADF Antenna

The TSO'd ANT-650A works as both a loop antenna and a sense antenna. There is no need to hang an unattractive and drag-producing long wire antenna on your aircraft. There were some ANT-650 antennas produced, but the "650A" version is a much better performer. It is the ANT-650A that we include in this system.
