Davis Standard 45IN45 extruder

Extruder has 30:1 L/D ratio with a six (6) zone electrically heated,
air cooled, and non-vented barrel at a 42″ center-line.
Gearbox has a reduction ratio of 17.39:1 and is rated at 321 HP at
a service of 1.25. Gearbox is belt driven by a 150 HP D/C motor with
SCR control. With free standing ten (10) zone temperature control panel
less instruments. Gearbox cooling with pump and heat exchanger.
Screen changer with hydraulic power pack is mounted on
the extruder discharge.
