GE Voluson S8

Voluson S8 is a digital ultrasound system characterized by excellent image quality in
2D, 3D, and 4D modes.

It compares favorably with its predecessors:
easier control;
lightness of construction;
power of automation tools.

The Voluson S8 ultrasound machine was developed in accordance with SDMS
(Society of Ultrasound Specialists) ergonomic guidelines and provides users with
exceptionally comfortable conditions for effective work.
Automation of frequently used system functions has significantly reduced the number of
keystrokes, allowing the physician to focus directly on the patient rather than on
the operation of the system itself.
The scanner is equipped with all the necessary tools for a variety of
diagnostic procedures in maternal and child health care.
As clinical practice expands, the Voluson S8 can be upgraded to
expand the system's functionality.

GE Voluson S8 Ultrasound Machine: New Features
To enhance image quality and make more informed decisions,
the Voluson S8 uses additional sensors:
C1-5 – abdominal sensor for working with very large patients;
RAB4-8 – wide-band convex patch for examining pregnant women in
the 1st-3rd trimesters;
RIC5-9W is a transvaginal probe for volumetric imaging of anatomical structures.

The Voluson S8 ultrasound machine uses advanced echocardiography techniques to
provide a comprehensive assessment of fetal cardiac activity:
tracking the characteristics of the cardiac cycle and identifying anomalies;
diagnostics of arrhythmia and other parameters of heart function;
Conducting comprehensive studies based on a series of volumetric images of the heart
in 6 standard projections.

In the field of reproductive medicine, the Voluson S8 uses 2D, 3D and 4D imaging to:
diagnose endometriosis;
assess the number of follicles and monitor their condition and development;
determine the optimal implantation zone in the uterine cavity during embryo transfer.
