Leistritz ZSE 18HPe twin screw extruder

Having two (2) 18.8 mm diameter inter-meshing co-rotating screws.
Eight (8) electrically heated and water-cooled barrel sections allow for
a 40:1 L/D ratio. Barrel sections include one (1) feed entrance,
two (2) degassing ports and one (1) barrel section with side port set up
for side feeder. Rated at 35.5 x 2 NM.
Includes a used set of screw splines with elements as well as
a new set of screw splines with elements.
Screws are driven by a 10 Kw
Dietz 1200 RPM motor (400- volt, 22 amp)
A/C motor with Eurotherm drive allowing
for a maximum screw speed of 1200 RPM.
Integral, movable pendulum style control panel has
nine (9) zones of temperature controllers as well as
extruder and side feeder controls with digital speed and
amp digital readouts.
Side feeder is a type VG 05-Z21,
Model LSB-17 and is driven by a .12 Kw A/C motor with Eurotherm drive.
Extruder is caster mounted. Parts include unused screw elements and
splines as previously mentioned as well as barrel plugs, breaker plate,
two (2) 2-hole strand dies, two (2) gravity feed hoppers, various bolts,
14 KVA transformer and computer for data acquisition.
Hour meter shows 1804 run hours. Exceptional piece of used machinery.
