"Winding is one of the critical moments in blown film extrusion: even the best possible film, if wound incorrectly, can cause significant problems in the subsequent printing or converting stages.

As a result, Macchi has developed over the years the BO winding concept, which includes a complete range of horizontal, digitally controlled, gearless winding units, and which is now universally considered to be one of the most effective on the market.

The BO concept has been realized in two configurations, which share the same robust structural setup: the BO Basic model, designed for contact winding only, and the BO Plus model, which offers contact, gap and center-center windings.

Supplied with a series of special features, the two models can be customized by choosing from a wide range of original accessories, including a modular, semi-automatic spindle movement system, equipped with different levels of automation, and designed to be installed on any BO Plus winder."
