The Nidek Satellite Tracer LT-1000 measures the shapes of glass frames or patterns, acquires the frame data, and transfers the JOB data to any connected instrument with layout data.
The LT-1000 has two types of tracers, either Lab or Web, depending on the software:
• Lab tracer type: Sends JOB data to any connected instrument such as a lens edger via a LAN in the laboratory.
• Web tracer type: Sends JOB data to the server software such as the iRx Server in a remote laboratory by e-mail via the Internet.
Entering the layout data with a tracer rather than an edger or computer improves the operability by simplifying the lens processing system.
The LT-1000 is constructed with the tracing unit in its lower part and the display in the upper. The lay- out data entry display is touch-screen.
Memory can hold 1000 data items for JOB and registered shape (PTN) respectively.
