The CP-7200 is a simple and efficient pick-and-place machine
designed for high-speed colony and plaque selection.
Even when selecting extremely densely packed colonies,
the CP-7200 will accurately select only round,
isolated colonies. Blue/white selection and plaque picking are also available.
The device is controlled via an intuitive graphical user interface,
allowing complete real-time control of the instrument.
The system features an integrated imaging system
for image acquisition. Highly optimized image analysis
software automatically locates only the positions
of objects of interest. The image analysis software also
allows individual mouse selection of each object
in the field of view for custom picking applications.
Twenty tungsten needles, guided by precise linear guides,
independently pick and place clones of interest.
