SCM ROUTECH R 400 5-axis
EUROPE (Western and Northern)
SCM ROUTECH R400 - OVER with 2 parallel tables
Dimensions of the work tables 2 tables of 2,120 x 3,120 mm
Large model, with separate tables
Special speed of the Z axis = 600 instead of the standard according to the drawings approved by you and in your possession
The table is more easily accessible for loading and unloading and,
in models with 2 independent motors in the X axis, offers an optimal range for each milling motor.
(no limitation of the milling range when individual programs run independently)
- Max travel of the milling motor table X = 7,385 mm
- Max travel of the Y table = 4,490 mm
- Vertical travel Z = 600 mm
- Maximum passage height from the table 500 mm
- Opening between the two tables 1,630 mm.
- Distance between tool holder and table from -10 to 590 mm
Minimum distance between milling motors
2 milling motors with tool changer 520 mm,
2 milling motors with tool changer 375 mm
Installation area 10,000 x 8,820 mm
2 independent X-axes for milling motors
This allows 2 motors to work in parallel and simultaneously at a programmable distance, on the same table or on both tables.
It is also possible to run completely different programs on both tables at the same time.
2 x 5-axis Prisma T milling motor from 13kW(S1)-15 kW (S6)
The interpolating SCM PRISMA T 5-axis milling motor, the heart of the machine, was developed and manufactured by the SCM GROUP motor department, which has many years of experience in building milling motors.
This compact and highly reliable 5-axis PRISMA T device can be used universally
and can utilize the entire work area thanks to its compact design and well-thought-out suspension.
The milling motor can tilt up to -10° from the vertical position and then rotate by 640°
This SCM motor is liquid-cooled and reaches its maximum output of 13 kW (S1) at just 7,000 rpm.

With this saw blade diameter and a speed of 7,000 revolutions per minute,
you have the full 13 kW of power available when sawing, which is ideal for cutting hard solid wood.
Specifications:
Motor power 13 kW (17.6 HP) at 7,000 rpm (S1)
Tool holder HSK-63-E
This new tool holder type has the same diameter but a longer taper contact surface than the F version.
It is tightened with 1,800 kgf (equivalent to 1765 NM) instead of 1,200 kg (equivalent to 1176 NM).
This significantly increases stability with large and long tools.
- Milling spindle speed continuously adjustable between 1,000-18,000 rpm.
- Robust, one-piece cast iron construction, for maximum installation precision of the internal components and good heat dissipation
- Static frequency converter for stepless speed and quick stop of the tool.
- Left and right rotation of the spindle.
- Thermostatic sensor to monitor the operating temperature Liquid cooling
- Safety lock with sensors for: Checking that the spindle is at a standstill before changing the tool Locking and unlocking the tools
- Maintenance-free ceramic high-precision bearings with a long service life
- Dust protection hood with central outlet and automatic valve control
for optimal dust extraction from the milling group and the drilling unit in both 3-axis and 5-axis work.reach beyond the table
Includes 2x Rapid 12 magazine on board next to Prisma T motor
- Is mounted directly next to the milling unit and moves in the X and Y directions.
- Tool magazine with 12 positions for HSK-63-E adapter
- Axis distance 2 consecutive tool positions 88 mm
- Maximum weight per tool 8 kg
- Maximum total weight of tools 36 kg
- Maximum permissible diameter 230 mm
2 x drilling group F 18 with 12 vertical and 6 horizontal drills
Is mounted next to the milling unit.
All drills, both vertical and horizontal, have a reach beyond the table
When drilling, the milling motor can rotate the tools in the Rapid 12
Technical data:

M 8/ dia. 9 mm.
32mm
64mm
The minimum distance between the 5-axis units with F18 and Rapid 12 is 1080 mm.
12 reference stops on the outside of the table.
Movable Ni profile on the table side
2 tables, each divided into 4 vacuum zones of +-/ 1,000 x 1,500 mm
There are 2 vacuum start buttons on the longest sides of each table.
The front will also have the start buttons for the front panels
This makes it possible to vacuum the workpieces per zone instead of blocking them per table.
2 x 6 stops = 12 stops in the tables
