Sotax HT100 Tablet Test System

The SOTAX HT 100 automatically measures the weight,
thickness, diameter or length and hardness of
up to 10 different products or batches
(e.g. tablets, dragées, oblongs,
effervescent tablets or similar drug delivery systems).
The SOTAX HT 100 is equipped with the unique
Auto Alignment device that automatically
and instantly aligns the sample into the correct
measuring position for hardness testing,
preventing erroneous hardness measurements.
The Auto Separator device automatically separates
all shapes and sizes of samples without the need
for manual user settings and special tools.
The measuring principles are easily switchable between
"Constant Speed" (where the test jaw is moved at a constant,
adjustable speed of 5-200 mm/min)
and "Constant Force" (where the test jaw increases
the force linearly, adjustable from 10-100 N/sec).
This function is easily selectable before each test
and can be used to compare and reproduce the results
of all common hardness testers on the market
as well as an excellent research tool.
