Tekmar AQUATek 70 Purge and Trap Concentrator

The 3100 system removes volatile organic compounds
from water or soil samples by transferring them to a sorbent trap.
This trap is then heated quickly, the analytes are flushed
with the GC transport gas into the capture area of the cryofocusing module,
where they are refocused and condensed.
The cryofocusing module is heated quickly
and the transport gas is passed through it to release
the analytes onto the GC column for separation and detection.
Includes control PC and software on diskettes
