HOPPER
Designed for conveyor feed with curtains to prevent fly back.
The hopper may be lifted together with the hinged upper housing by
means of the hydraulic lifting system.
The rotor is easily accessible for maintenance and cleaning.

FORCE FEEDER
The Force Feeder is a paddle type design to assist in
feeding flattened bottles into the granulator.
It helps reduce the tendency of the bottles to bounce on the rotor,
thereby achieving increased throughput. The force feeder is equipped
with one or two geared drives.
Built in as part of the machine hopper it is integrated with
the granulators hydraulic lifting system to allow easy access for cleaning and
maintenance. The feeder is also designed with water fittings for the wash process.
NOTE: 1 Geared motor has previously been damaged and repaired.

ROTOR
Semi closed rotor in welded steel construction with 9 x 4 rotating blades angled in
V-form to give an X-form cutting action against the stator blades.
Bearing housings remote mounted to prevent ingress of material and water.

BLADE ADJUSTMENT
Knife setting fixture supplied with the machine for quick adjustment of
the blades remote from the machine. Minimizes machine downtime.
Cutting Chamber
Centrally hinged, heavy duty fabricated steel construction.
The upper housing is open by means of the hydraulic lifting system which
allows fast access for blade replacement or screen removal.

SCREEN
Wear resistant screen with optional hole sizes. The screen is held in
a hinged support cradle and may be removed through the inspection door in
the lower section of the cutting housing. Screen access is via the hydraulic lifting system.
Pulleys & belts
Heavy duty vee belts and pulleys are installed to cope with shock loads.
The rotor pulley is of heavy duty construction and acts as a fly wheel.
