Texturing process will changes the physical form of a fibre in order to give a different texture and sense of touch, comfort, appearence. It consists in the formation of crimp, loops, coils, or crinkles in filaments. The filament will be distorted then heated ad cooled down.

During texturing the yarn can go through a knife edge that will heat and stretch the yarn, stuffer box or owen box where the filaments are heated where they enter at higher speed than their exraction, air jet that will also overfeed the filament into the chamber at high speed, also the filament will pass through friction disks.

Q: I want to ship 4 sets of  Barmag AFK texturizing machines from 2003. How many containers do I need? Machines have 240 spindles. How do you load the electric cabinet which is higher than a container?
A: For each Barmag AFK texturizing machine with 240 spindles you will need minimum three 40FT high cube containers. Ideally 4 containers would be better but due to container costs it is possible to save one container. THe electric cabinet can not be loaded in its vertical position. So we have to lay it down on a special palette we will make. We have done it many times and we never has any problems.
