Edge Strengthening and Trimming Device M + S Brugg AG
Edge strengthening and trimming of glue spliced veneer faces in grain or cross grain direction.
The ends are automatically reinforced with glue thread and ecactly rectangular trimmed on both sides.
The Edgemaster eliminates splitting or cracking of the veneer and avoids repair work after further handling of the faces.

Veneer face lengths (grain direction): 420 - 2800 mm
Veneer face widths (cross grain direction): 400 - 4200 mm
Veneer thickness (trimming and reinforcing mode): 0,3 - 1,5 mm
Veneer thickness (reinforcing mode only): 0,3 - 2,0 mm
Trim-off widths (each sids): 10 - 350 mm

- Two laser lines indicate the position of the application head for fast repositioning of the veneer and/or application heads
- Motorized displacement of the application heads with digital read out . lt numerically indicates the distance between the heads, enabling quick lengths change over.
